Footpath Repairs

Richard Bond, RDC Woodland Team and Open Spaces Supervisor has advised us that repairs will be carried out during the week beginning 16th December 2013, to the footpath that runs from the Flemings Farm-Gusted Hall By Way, along beside the stream.  Most of you will know that it’s surface was entirely washed away in the downpour that occurred over the August Bank Holiday.  (Photos below)

Vehicles will be using the bridle way for a few days.  Work signs will be put out and vehicles will of course give way to horses.

We are very pleased with this news.  In the present economic climate we thought we would have to wait much longer to get back what was previously an excellent stretch of footpath.
