Information Sign 2 - The Orchard
The Community Orchard was planted in 2011. 144 apple and pear trees, traditional Essex varieties. The trees are cared for by the Volunteers who clear the ground round the trees annually, feed, mulch and prune.
In February 2023 a further 100 fruit trees were planted between the original orchard and the Wild Flower Meadow.
