Information sign 5 -  the bridleway crosses the footpath

At this point the footpath running from Green Lane down to the stream crosses the park bridleway.   This is a popular entrance point into the park and there are litter bins and a bench.

You have a choice...
  • you can walk east along the bridleway towards the orchards, wild flower meadow and car park,
  • west, along and down the bridleway towards the lake and from there on towards Flemings Farm and the west side of the park,
  • north down to the stream
  • or south, out of the park and up to the old Southend Bridleway and from there on to Green Lane, Eastwood.
