Information sign 3 - The Friends' Path - west end.

In 2021 The Friend's Path was completed - the first phase of our ambition to provide an all-weather accessible path from the east of the park, at Cherry Orchard Way, to the west of the park at Grove Road.
Our successful bid to Veolia provided the majority of the funding and we were supported by Rochford District Council.  The first stage of the path runs from the car park at Cherry Orchard Way to the bridleway.  The path is now very well used and appreciated.
In 2022 an avenue of Hornbeam trees was planted to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee.
