As part of the Love Rochford campaign RDC are targeting dog fouling and smoking related litter. Cherry Orchard Country Park has been identified as one of the areas which could benefit from the campaign, focusing on the issue of dog fouling.

The campaign will begin this Monday, and along with posters, notices and media coverage, we will be spray painting dog mess with orange spray paint. Please do not be alarmed if you see spots of spray paint on the grass, the exercise is being carried out by Rochford Council and it’s aims are to make dog walkers aware of the problem. The paint is a chalk, water based paint and is only temporary and will be removed naturally through weathering over a short time.
